Kaden has severe neurological motor deficits. The damaged white matter of his brain and spinal cord is irreversible. As an adult cheetah, Kaden needs to learn to walk again with compensatory adaptation. The exact cause of why this happened to Kaden is unclear, however it has been linked to not receiving the correct nutrition as a cub.
